Could also be just an animation attack. Right hand swings and hits for x and in next attack cycle the left hands swings - this as opposed to just swinging an axe/sword/hammer in different directions.

If the speed is quicker than sword/axe (which it should be) then the dmg would reflect both daggers properly and it wouldn't be 14-34. To get the attack speed just figure it from a swords damage value at 1.33 speed. Obvioulsy they aren't going to make tiny daggers the most damaging weapons in the game, hammers are that, but, are much slower of course. By my caculations it would be an attack speed of 1.03 for tiny daggers and would be 7-17 for each hit. It's going to be more cosmetic than damaged based, but, I would think skills will make up the balances like a swirling strike for example (simular to cyclone axe). To be 14-34 they would both have to strike at the same time and duel wielding just doesn't work that way. (smile)
But, there could be a skill "double thrust" that gives double damage from strike "if it hits" that would cost oh say 10 energy or high rate of adrinilin if these guys are adrinilin based which I would think they would be to an extent.
Just my 2 cents and speculations of course (smile)

I'm guessing the attack speed will be 1s. This puts it slightly inferior to swords in terms of sustainable DPS, until you factor in critical hits.

Illusionary Weaponry and daggers FTW... maybe.

well with the daggers, im guessing it might be like stone daggers (ele earth spell)..... u hit 7-17 dmg x 2..... which is more reasonable, this would be very nice against prot spirit ppl indeed, how ever vs warriors, 7-17 x 2 against all those armor is basicly 0 dmg x 2..... how ever there might be some kick arse skills that kills fast.... maybe with long recharge though since assasins arent meant for long duration combats. also with inivsibility + teleport, if assasins were tooo sweet, then the other professions will eventrually get updated more powerfully too.

You seem to be not able to mod the dagger at this point.

Conjur + dagger going to be another very fast damage source @_@ Just don't tell me assasin got a stance that increase attack speed too greatly, or else that "might" lead to some unbalance.
